NEMCC Pins Nurse Grads

BOONEVILLE, Miss. – Five Northeast Mississippi Community College students received certification in Practical Nursing Education (PNE) and qualified to sit for the licensure exam during the fall 2013 semester. Northeast’s Practical Nursing Pinning Ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 10 on the second floor of Hargett Hall on the college’s Booneville campus. Graduates included (from l-r) Amanda Plaxico of Booneville, Mikeaha Hans of Booneville, Kimberly Willard of Etta, Ashli Richardson of Iuka and Stephanie Bragg of Corinth. Northeast’s Practical Nursing Education program is a 12-month program that requires 410 hours of lecture, 240 hours of laboratory practice and 345 hours of clinical. Practical Nursing Education instructors are Paula Stennett MSN, RN; Felicia Crump, MSN, RN; Amanda Sullivan, MSN, RN and Mary Sue Perrigo, BSN, RN, Director of Practical Nursing Education.
