Noxapater School Lockdown Lifted, Man Jailed

NOXAPATER, Miss. (WCBI) – A Philadelphia man is in jail, accused of threatening two Noxapater Attendance Center students.

Reggie Triplett, 22, is charged with two counts of cyber stalking.

Winston County Sheriff Jason Pugh says Triplett met a female student, who refused to date him.

Pugh says that’s when Triplett started making threats over Facebook and text message to the girl and her boyfriend.

School administrators were notified and the school was on lockdown for about five hours on Thursday.

Triplett was arrested in Philadelphia and taken back to Winston County.
