Noxapater Special Election

NOXAPATER, Miss. (WCBI) – Qualifying continues for a special board of aldermen election in Noxapater.

Residents can sign up to run for the position until January 27th.

The election will be held on February 16th.

Current alderman Bobby Pierce was elected to the Louisville Municipal School Board of Trustees.

City officials tell WCBI that Pierce can’t hold a position on both boards and Pierce wasn’t aware when he ran for the school board post.
