Noxubee County Man Charged with Smuggling Contraband into Jail
NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Noxubee County man who allegedly tried to smuggle drugs into jail is out on bond.
Noxubee County sheriff’s deputies arrested 36-year-old William Coleman Jr. over the weekend on two drug-related charges.
Coleman allegedly tried to deliver marijuana and synthetic marijuana, otherwise referred to as “spice,” which had been concealed in a deodorant stick.
This is allegedly the second time Coleman has attempted to smuggle contraband into a jail.
He was charged with two counts of introducing contraband and a controlled substance into a jail. He is out of jail on a $10,000 bond.
