MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – B.F. Liddell Middle School students learn a lesson in drug abuse and bullying.

Noxubee County High School juniors and seniors performed a skit for the middle schoolers about drug prevention.

The presentation is part of the Students Against Violence Everywhere, or Save, program.

A young man also gave his testimony about his addiction to Spice.

Students seemed to get the message from their older classmates.

“I learned that it is very important to not do drugs because it can mess up your future and harm you in ways that you don’t think about,” said student Destiny Orr.

“I learned from the program that drugs can cause a failure in your life and cause you to have a downfall,” added student Jaquaras Jamison.

The Mississippi State Department of Health last reported more than three hundred Spice related emergency room visits in the state, including cases in Noxubee County.
