Noxubee Woman Accused Of Hitting Another With A Hammer

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – A Noxubee County woman was charged with aggravated assault after being indicted by a Noxubee County Grand Jury.

Patricia Ramsey, 42, is accused of hitting Bessie Johnson with a hammer in October 2014.

Noxubee County Sheriff Terry Grassaree says the women started arguing and Johnson was hit numerous times in the head.

Ramsey was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.
