Ole Miss Hosts Listening Session on Chancellor Search

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — The search for the next Ole Miss Chancellor is picking up steam.

The search committee is hosting listening sessions across the state to get input on who to pick.

On Thursday, board members came to Oxford to hear from those closest to the university.

“It’s very beneficial obviously for all the trustees to hear from the Ole Miss community as to what qualities and what skill sets the next chancellor should possess,” said Glen Boyce, IHL commissioner.

The Ole Miss job came open after the state college board made the decision not to renew the contract of Dan Jones.
