One Dead In Chickasaw County Shooting

CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – One person is dead after a shooting in Chickasaw County on Monday night.

Chickasaw County Coroner Andy Harmon says the shooting occurred on Highway 41, north of Okolona. It’s unclear if the gunfire erupted at a residence.

A person of interest is in custody, according to Harmon.

No names are being released at this time.

Harmon said more information will be released Tuesday morning.
