One Injured In Pontotoc Shooting

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WCBI) – One person is recovering from a gunshot wound and several people are in custody after a shooting in Pontotoc.

Police Chief Randy Tutor says gunfire erupted on Clark Street on Tuesday night.

Tutor is not releasing the name of the suspects because it is an ongoing investigation.

The unidentified person that was shot has non life-threatening injuries.

More information is expected to be released this afternoon.
