One Killed, Three Injured in Prentiss County Crash

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating a one-vehicle fatal crash in Prentiss County that occurred at the intersection of US 45 and MS 145, north of Booneville.

Troopers were dispatched to the scene at 7:15, PM, Wednesday night. Upon arriving it appeared Dock Davis, Jr, 61, of Grand Junction, TN, was traveling north on MS 145, in a 1991 Chevrolet Suburban, when he apparently continued across US 45 at the intersection and collided into an embankment.

Davis was fatally injured in the crash and died on the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.

There were three passengers in Davis’s vehicle–

Travis Stanley, 29, of Booneville, was transported to NMMC with moderate injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.

Timothy Morrow, 26, and Jacklyn Morrow, 30, both of Moscow, TN, were both airlifted. Timothy Morrow was transported by air to NMMC with serious injuries, Jacklyn Morrow was transported by air to the MED in Memphis with serious injuries. Neither one was wearing a seat belt.
