One Less Candidate For Police Chief

COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) –      A Chicago police officer has taken his name out of the running for Columbus police chief.  North Chicago Police Commander Curtis Brame has withdrawn his name from the running for the job.  That’s leaves 3 people in the hunt for the post.  They are Interim Chief Fred Shelton, Oscar Lewis III or Waynesboro and Arthur McClung from Ocean Springs.  All three finalists will be interviewed tomorrow in a public session starting at 3:00 as part of the Columbus Council meeting.
