Over 160 Marijuana Plants Seized in Tippah County Bust

COTTON PLANT, Miss. (WCBI) – A large amount of marijuana plants were seized in Tippah County on Tuesday.

According to Tippah County Sheriff Karl Gaillard, approximately 165 marijuana plants were confiscated in the Cotton Plant area.

The large amount of plants were seen by an aerial view from a helicopter.

Representatives from the Tippah County Sheriff’s Department, Union County Sheriff’s Department and the Mississippi Bureau of  Narcotics were on the scene.

The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics is launching an investigation into the case.

Arrest have not yet been made.
