Oxford Lawyer Proclaims Innocence

OXFORD, MS (WCBI) – Oxford  attorney Tyler Smith entered a not guilty plea today to federal charges of wire fraud.  Smith was arrested last week for using false BP settlement claims as collateral for loans from banks and individuals.  Smith is accused of securing hundreds of thousands of dollars in loans using the fake settlements.  Trial has been set for  March 7th in Oxford.
