Oxford Schools Want Parents To Speak Out

PRESS RELEASE
Oxford, Mississippi—The Oxford School District (OSD) wants to know what parents think about their child’s school and overall education. That’s why parents are encouraged to share their feedback through the OSD Parent Survey, which is now open online at www.oxfordsd.org/ParentSurvey. The online parent survey closes Sunday, February 7, 2016.
While parent participation is voluntary, what parents have to say is important: Oxford school officials use parent feedback to improve student achievement, enhance learning, promote safety and make positive changes in the overall environment of schools.
“We definitely want and need our parents’ feedback, so that we can make positive changes in the overall environment of our schools,” said SuzAnne Liddell, federal programs and school registration director for the Oxford School District. Parent survey results are confidential and anonymous.
Parents or families without computer or Internet access who wish to complete the OSD Parent Survey are welcome to use district computers in the School Registration Office, 409 Washington Avenue. The School Registration Office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
