Oxford Teen Dies In Tuesday Shooting

OXFORD, MS (WCBI) -Oxford Police have now released more details on a Tuesday afternoon shooting in the city.  Police say 18 year old Hunter Escue was found shot at a residence on Old Taylor Road.  20 year old Austin McLarty of Oxford called 911 to report the shooting and was at the home when officers arrived. Mclarty told police He and Escue were  both handling guns when Mclarty’s gun went off fatally injuring Escue.   Evidence has been sent to the crime lab but no charges have been filed in the case at this time.
