Oxford Woman Killed In Friday Morning Crash

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford woman is killed in an early morning accident in Lafayette County.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says the vehicle driven by 26 Shelbi Shute left Highway 334 and hit a tree.

Shute died as a result.

Troopers say the crash happened about 6:45 AM, near County Road 415.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
