PCSO Arrests Man in ‘Very Unusual Case’

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Prentiss County man is behind bars on a burglary charge.

Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a residence on County Road 3101 in reference to a possible burglary.

According to a press release provided by PCSD, authorities determined Josh Huddleston had allegedly forced his way into the residence and “plugged in an extension cord” into an outlet. Deputies followed the extension cord from the home which led them to Huddleston’s residence.

Huddleston was charged with burglary of a dwelling, and is out of jail on a $5,000 bond.

Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar described the case as “very unusual,” and added he felt it was a “first for (his) department.”
