Pittsboro Alderman Resigns

PITTSBORO, Miss. (WCBI) — One of Pittsboro’s city leaders is stepping down.

Alderman Les Morgan resigned at their board meeting Tuesday night, saying he planned to sell his home in the city.

Now city leaders will have to set a special election within 45 days of their May meeting.

Morgan’s term expires at the end of next year.
