Plea Set In Local ISIS Case

ABERDEEN, MS (WCBI) –  The second plea in the case of a couple attempting to flee the United States to join ISIS is set for Tuesday.

Jaelyn Young of Vicksburg is set to appear in U.S Federal Court Tuesday for a change of plea hearing.  Online court records do not show which of the indictments against her will be before the court.  Young was arrested last year as she and co – defendant Muhammed Dakhlalla of Starkville were trying to board a flight at GTR airport with plans to eventually land in Turkey and slip into Syria.   Daklallah pled guilty March 11th to one count of providing material support to a terrorist organization.
