Police: Columbus Man Wanted in May Shooting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police are looking for a man they say was involved in a shooting last month.

Investigators say they’re looking for Victor Shanklin, and plan to charge him with aggravated assault.

Officers believe he was involved in an early morning shooting May 15 on 5th Street South.

Shanklin’s last known address is 2214 26th Street North in Columbus.

Anyone who knows where he is, is asked to call Columbus police or Crime Stoppers.
