Police Looking For Robbery Suspect

WEST POINT, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – On Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:13, Clay County E-911 dispatched a call to AT&T store located at 1321 Highway 45 Alternate South.

It was in reference to a robbery.

The caller reported that the suspect fled the store on foot toward Walmart Super Center which is to the west of the store.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a red hat, white t-shirt, and blue jeans.

The store manager reported to responding officers that a man came into the store and began asking about iPhones.

As she was waiting on him the suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of merchandise and fled the store.

No weapon was displayed. She further described him as approximately 6′, stocky build with a dark complexion.

Video footage from the nearby Walmart captured the suspect running from the building into Walmart parking lot.

The suspect got into a small silver car with black rims and left the parking lot on Highway 45.

Store video captured an image of the robber.
