Video: Political Forum Held In Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Voters heard from candidates in the May city primaries and June General election during a forum Thursday night.

The three candidates for mayor were the first to face off tonight at the Columbus municipal complex.

Incumbent Democrat Robert Smith, Independent Bo Jarrett and Republican Glenn Lautzenhiser answered five questions on issues facing the city.

Candidates for the six city council seats also took questions during the two-hour event.

WCBI Assistant News Director Steve Rogers moderated tonight’s the forum.
