Pontotoc Co. Homicide Victims Identified

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Authorities have released the names of the two victims found dead in a Pontotoc County home around 10 a.m., Sunday.

Coroner Kim Bedford says their names are 70-year-old Donald Ralph Baker, and his wife, 57-year-old Evelyn Baker.

The Bakers were found in the Shady Grove community, just outside of Ecru.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the deaths as a homicide, and are interviewing people to figure out what happened.

Bedford says autopsies are being conducted Monday to determine the cause of death.
