Pontotoc Firemen Battle Overnight Fires
PONTOTOC, Miss. (WCBI) — Pontotoc firemen spent the past twelve hours battling a pair of fires in the city. The first blaze broke out just after 10:30 last night at the Main Street Grille. People reported seeing smoke coming from the building and when fire crews arrived the interiors of the restaurant had suffered major damage.
The second fire happened just after 3:30 Tuesday morning at the Southern Frames plant. Fire Chief Lance Martin says fire had already spread through about three fourths of the building before it was noticed. He adds the building is a total loss. WCBI will have more on these stories throughout the day.
