Video: PRAM Honors Montgomery, Williams

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Two Lowndes County residents who often operate out of the spotlight are honored for their public relations contributions to a variety of groups.

Columbus bail bondsman Kenneth Montgomery received the External Practioner Award from the Golden Triangle Public Relations Association of Mississippi chapter. Montgomery volunteers with and promotes numerous non-profit programs and events each year.

Towanda Williams received the Internal Practitioner award. The MUW worker has played a key role in putting on several PRAM functions, including the state conference last year.

The group also installed new officers during today’s ceremonies. The new officers are Shasta Dodd, president; Amber Brislin, vice president; Frances Jutman, treasurer; Andi Adams, secretary; Brennan Dockery, past president; Anika Perkins, at-large board member; Karen Stanley, Chris Jenkins and Janie Shields, public relations; Van Roberts and Towanda Williams, student recruitment; Towanda Williams, state representative.
