Prentiss County Begins Drug Roundup

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) — On March 20, Prentiss County Narcotics Investigators and Prentiss County Deputies, Booneville Narcotics Investigators and Police, and North Ms Narcotics Unit,  began a round up of suspected narcotics violators that had been subject to undercover investigations for the last several months in Booneville and Prentiss County.

Around 3 a.m. Friday, Prentiss County Narcotics Investigators and Deputies arrested Randy Jeffery Crabb, 38, of County Road 2220 in Booneville and charged him with sale of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine).  The charged stemmed from a recent undercover operation focused on Crabb.

Crabb was under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections for previous narcotics violations and remains in jail with no bond set.

The other arrests began Monday after indictments were released following the county’s most recent Grand Jury issued indictments for arrests of the following individuals:

— Eddie Kenard Nunn, 42, of Booneville, was charged with two counts of sale of controlled substance (cocaine) enhanced because of gang-related activity.  Seized from Eddie Nunn was a 2003 Ford Expedition.  Nunn’s bond was set at $20,000.

— Zane Shaundrae Miller, 20, of Booneville, was charged with one count sale of cocaine and bond was set at $5,000.

— Tanner Britt Oswalt, 22, of Booneville, was charged with Possession of Counterfeit Substance with Intent to Sell and Conspiracy.  His bond was set at $10,000.

— Melissa Turner, 44, Booneville, was charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).  Turner’s bond was set at $5,000.
