NETTLETON, Miss. (WCBI) — Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley puts to rest speculation he

The 37-year-old Nettleton Democrat says he plans to seek a third term representing the northern district on the state’s utility regulation board.

He filed papers Tuesday indicating his plans.

Some had speculated Presley might challenge for one of eight statewide offices on next November’s ballot, but Presley, a former Nettleton mayor, says he still has work to finish on the PSC.

All three utility commission seats, the three transportation commissioners and all 174 legislators are up for election in 2015.

Democrats hold only one statewide office.
