ALICEVILLE, Ala. (WCBI) – The staff at the new federal women’s prison in Aliceville, AL is making the holidays a little brighter for hundreds of children.

The facility’s warden and staff adopted Aliceville Elementary School earlier this year as part of its community outreach.

As a special Christmas treat for the school’s 321 children, prison guards and other personnel brought a truckload of toys to the school Tuesday and distributed them.

They brought along Santa and Mrs. Claus to help out.

Earlier this year, the prison staff provided backpack to children at the school.
