ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – An Aberdeen man is walking and driving through cities in North Mississippi reminding voters about the importance of casting their vote on Tuesday (11-6).

Carrying a sign that reads “vote” on one side and the American flag on the other, Greg McMicheals says he is getting no bad vibes from potential voters as he gives his bipartisan greeting and reminder.

“The response has been overwhelming. People have been blowing horns and giving me the thumbs up and stuff. So a lot of people have been real encouraging. You know, blacks, whites, they’ve been real encouraging. No thumbs down, no its been overwhelming. The response has been overwhelming,” said McMicheals.

The Aberdeen native is quick to admit he is frustrated by all of the negative campaign ads.
