Prosecutors Recommend 10-Year Sentence
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Prosecutors recommend 10 years in prison for a Columbus man in an armed robbery and burglary.
Jontavius Thomas, 21, pleaded guilty today in Lowndes County Circuit Court to the November 29, 2012 burglary of the home of Tameka Deloach. He originally was charged with armed robbery and burglary but pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal.
Prosecutors recommended a 25-year sentence with 15 suspended, leaving 10 years to serve.
