Prostitution Arrests Made in New Albany

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two females were arrested and charged with prostitution Saturday night at a New Albany truck stop.

A Pilot Truck Stop employee called police Saturday night to report suspicious activity in the parking lot.

When police arrived, they found two African-American females waiting in a vehicle. According to Chief Chris Robertson, authorities witnessed a third female leave a nearby truck to join them.

Officers took statements from the women and the truck driver and determined one of the females had solicited the driver for sex.

Regina Jenecia Brittion, of Byhalia, was charged with solicitation of prostitution while Georgia A. Raimey, of Lamer, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. The truck driver, Eugene Daniel McGee, of Denver, Co., was charged with solicitation of prostitution. The third female was allowed to leave free of any charges.

All three charged made bail and will be required to appear in court.
