Reform Man Dies in Apparent Drowning

PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) — A Reform, Alabama man has died from an apparent drowning.

Pickens County Sheriff David Abston tells WCBI it happened sometime between 7 and 9 p.m., Tuesday.

The man’s truck was found outside of U.S. Highway 82 near McShan Lake in Pickens County.

Abston says they found the man dead in the lake, but there were no obvious signs of injury.

Investigators don’t suspect foul play at this time.

The victim was in his 70s.

His body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.
