OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Oktibbeha County residents are using their sweet tooth, Saturday, at the annual Oktoc Country Store.

They enjoyed lots of of dessert and bread, and of course their famous Brunswick stew.

There was even a quilt raffle.

Residents tell WCBI they enjoy this event, because it brings the community together.

“This is an event that’s looked forward to by the folks in Starkville, and surrounding areas every year, because they want the Brunswick stew, and they like the cakes, and pies, and things that we have to offer to put in their freezers for the holidays,” said resident Hellen Polk.

This is the 44th year the community has held this event.
