Robbery Nets 15-Year Sentence
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A man is sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a Columbus home invasion robbery two years ago.
Tevin Oglen,20, pleaded guilty in Lowndes County Circuit Court to armed robbery and burglary and got concurrent 15-year sentences. He was one of six people originally charged with forcing their way into the apartment of Karen Winter at Sandpiper Apartments in September 2011 and robbing her at gunpoint of numerous items.
Oglen is the fourth of the six suspects to either plead guilty or be found guilty for their roles in the crime.
Two others are set for trial later this month.
