Rotary Scholars Day

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- More than 200 Tupelo students were in grades 7th through 12th were honored Monday for their academic achievements.

The rotary club of Tupelo held their Rotary Scholars Day ceremony Monday afternoon.

Eight seniors earned six-year scholar status.

Organizers say the program is another measure of the importance of recognizing the academic achievements children make in their district.
