Several West Point Students Pledge To Stay Drug Free

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) — Dozens of West Point students pledge to stay drug free.

Central School and Oak Hill Academy students gathered at the West Point Civic Center for a D.A.R.E. graduation to commit to a future without drugs and violence.

Students enjoyed skits from their peers, along with guest speaker and former Green Bay Packers’ tight end, Donald Lee.

West Point police officers awarded each student with a certificate of pledge.

The D.A.R.E. program was founded in Los Angeles in 1983.
