Video: Shannon Elementary Hosts Fall Festival

SHANNON, Miss. – (WCBI) Creatively carved pumpkins were on display and there was finally enough chill in the air to enjoy a nice bowl of chili.

That meant for a great turnout at Shannon Elementary School this afternoon as they held their school’s fall festival and chili cook-off.

Several different businesses, organizations and churches participated. The Lee County Sheriff’s Department even had a pot boiling.
Participants paid $5 to sample all of the chili.

This is school’s annual fall fundraiser.
