Shuqualak Teen Killed In Crash

KEMPER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Shuqualak teen was killed in an early Wednesday morning accident in Kemper County.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says 16 year-old Matthew Lee Sciple’s vehicle was on Highway 39, just after 8 A.M., when it flipped.

Sciple was not wearing a seat belt. He later died at the hospital.

Sciple’s father, Ronnie Sciple, is the former head football coach at Macon’s Central Academy.

The teenager attended Kemper Academy in De Kalb.

The crash remains under investigation.
