Singing To Give Back

COLUMBUS, MISS. (WCBI)–Singing to give back is what took over the Rent Auditorium at the W this evening. By using their musical talents to do good is how the United Harmony Gospel Choir of the W is helping the Sandfield Horizon Community during the holidays.

The group held a free concert and had donation boxes set out for people to donate toys, blankets, and really anything to help give back.
organizer, Keandra White, says doing this is a way to let others know that they are here for help.

“We’re a student organization and as students we want to give back to the community. This is something that we love to do and we love to use our voices for Christ and that’s, basically what we’re doing all this for. We’re doing this for Christ and we’re doing this for the community.”

Many groups from around the area came out to perform Christmas songs and gospel songs.
