Video: Solar Farms Lighting It Up

LOWNDES COUNTY,MS (WCBI) –  Two solar farms built in Lowndes County are now producing electricity.

Silicon Ranch Corporation says both sites are online and adding enough electricity  to the  4  County grid to power around 200 homes.   The solar farms are part of TVA initiative to expand its renewable power footprint across the TVA service area.
