STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-We know what dozens of children in Starkville and Oktibbeha County are getting for Christmas, they are getting a new bike compliments of parishioners of a Starkville church.

Bikes donated by members of Second Missionary Baptist Church are expected to be under the Christmas tree of children in third, fourth, and fifth grade in the Starkville School System. Forty bicycles were dropped off early Monday morning at Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary and 20 more are expected to be delivered Tuesday.

Two hundred of these holiday presents have been given out in the last three years. The bikes are a gift that is going to encourage children to exercise while having hours of fun riding.
