STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)– The M-S-U Fashion Show took place on Saturday morning at the Starkville Boys and Girls Club.

Human Science Students enrolled in Apparel Design one class partnered with the Starkville Boys and Girls Club to sew dresses for the model female members of the club as part of their service learning project.

with the discussions and content that were addressed in class, the M-S-U Students chose the best design and fabric for their models.

One of the students was really excited to design the dresses for the show.

“It’s been really exciting to be able to work with other students and making these dresses and it’s taken a lot of hard work and dedication and we’ve just built some great friendships in the class and also getting to work with the Boys and Girls Club has really been just so much fun getting to work with all of these wonderful students,” said Dress Designer Mary Michael Bellin.

Before the dresses were designed the students got to meet with the models and take measurements and discuss the components of the dresses with participants.
