Starkville Lowes Employee Charged with Felony Embezzlement

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Wallet improvement rather than home improvement appeared to be the focus of a worker at a Starkville building supply store.

Starkville police said 30-year-old Carla Reed of 309 Reed Road has been charged with felony embezzlement for allegedly stealing from a Lowes store in Starkville.

Investigators said Reed allegedly stole from the store over a period of several months before being arrested Tuesday.

She is free on a $5,000 bond.
