Starkville Police Make Stabbing Arrest

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Starkville police make an arrest after someone was stabbed in the back Monday night.

69-year-old Mozzel Simmons has been charged with aggravated assault.

Officers responded to the incident around 10:30 p.m. Monday night.

The victim suffered a knife wound to his back, and was taken to OCH Regional Medical Center.

He was treated and released.

Simmons’ bond was set at $10,000.
