Video: Starkville Residents Celebrate Recycling Day

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville community members celebrate the 4th annual recycling day.

The event was held at Starkville Communities Farmers market with activities for the kids along with tasty BBQ. Guests got to learn about the importance of recycling along with the what their community offers.

“Some people don’t really know that Starkville provides free recycling so we just want them to be aware that Starkville does provide this service. It’s free to the citizens and all you have to do is to sign up and put it curve side and will pick it up just like we pick up your normal garbage on assigned day,” says Emma Gandy.

Participants also had the chance to sign up for the free recycling program.
