Video: Starkville Residents Honor First Responders

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A group of Starkville residents is honoring some local heroes.

On Tuesday, Volunteer Starkville hosted “First Responders Appreciation Day” to recognize Starkville and Oktibbeha County first responders.

At the event, neighbors got to meet and interact with their local heroes.

Attendees also got to enjoy food and music, plus explore emergency vehicles, and make disaster preparedness kits.

Volunteer Starkville is also hosting other events for first responders on Friday, and again next week.
