State Representative Steve Holland In Hospital

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – State Representative Steve Holland is in the hospital with an abdominal bacterial infection.

The long-time District 16 Representative tells WCBI he went to North Mississippi Medical Center this past Tuesday when he started feeling ill.

Holland says he is taking three antibiotics and his recovery is a day to day process.

He was hospitalized last year with a similar infection.

The outspoken Democrat was first elected in 1983.
