STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Some Mississippi State University students are working toward a bright future.

Both students and alumni attended MSU Career Days, Tuesday, as a way to network with potential employers.

More than 200 recruiters are on hand for the free event, which lasts two days.

Attendees handed out resumes, and learned more about many companies from across the country.

Students tell WCBI the networking opportunity was too good to pass up.

“I got the opportunity to talk to a lot of different companies, different places where I can potentially have a job in the future,” said student James Leggett. “I got a lot of important information about majors that they are taking, information about the company, what they stand for, and the company as a whole.”

MSU Career Days will be held again Wednesday from 12 until 4 p.m. at the Humphrey Coliseum.

It will focus on engineering and technical careers.
