West Point, Miss. (WCBI) — Oak Hill Academy seventh graders celebrated their Leap Day by reading letters from four years ago when the students wrote the notes last Leap Year.

Former O.H.A. teacher Bridget Shows spent today with her former students, who were in third grade at the time of the project.

The letters were meant to be a way for the students to predict where and what they would be doing at this time four years ago. Shows said that technology of today has improved more rapidly than the students predicted last Leap Year.

Shows, who now teaches Kindergarten at West Point Consolidated School District, did the same project with her students today for the kids to read their letters next Leap Year in 2020.
