Sudduth Elementary Lockdown

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI) Sudduth Elementary School in Starkville was under lockdown Friday afternoon, right about pick up time.

Parents arriving to collect their students were ushered into a conference room as a precaution. Superintendent Lewis Holloway says administrators were alerted to what he calls,”a serious concern about an adult.”

The lockdown lasted for about 30 minutes and was lifted about 2:40 p.m.

Police have turned the investigation over to the Starkville Schools police unit. Charges have not been filed.
